The property

2 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom apartment, sleeps five. Fully furnished, 1 double bed,

2 single beds and a pull-out sofa. Linens provided, air conditioned, electrical applicances include microwave, kettle, toaster, washing machine and gas oven & hob. Very large private roof terrace with sun loungers, table & chairs and access to the communal pool. Enjoy a nice chilled glass of Sangria while basking in the all day sun.





How to Get There

Fly into two airports, Alicante in the north and Murcia in the south. It takes 25-35 minutes to get to the apartment depending on the airport you use. It is a straight road from the airport to the apartment, so if you are considering renting a car it is pretty easy. Car hire is available at both airports, and there is also a taxi service.




Amenities

The apartment is located within literally one minute of a supermarket selling British produce, numerous cafes, bars including a superb Irish bar, Internet cafe, patisserie, pie shop, Indian and Chinese restaurant, and if you're felling really home sick, a fish and chip shop! Just a short walk away are other supermarkets and also possibly one of Spain's largest supermarkets - Carrefour. A McDonalds and Burger King are also on hand to keep the kids happy. There is a multiplex cinema showing English language films, 10 pin bowling and 3 aqua parks in the area. Just a little further up the road is a go karting track with karts to suit all, even customised ones for the big kids! At the next roundabout La Siesta is another commercial centre home to more bars and restaurants and a chemist.

How to get about

We are within a few minutes walk of the bus stop which will take you into the town of Torrevieja, the town being only a 10 minute ride away. This will cost about 50p. Taxis are also very cheap, charging around £1.80 into town. Cycle hire is another way of exploring the area. A new cycle track has recently been laid which provides a safe and enjoyable ride into town.

Beaches

With at least five to choose from, there is a spot for everybody, from snorkelling to the sun worshipper. Also the waterfront is home to a beautifull marina, where you can sit at the idylic bars and restaurants and watch the world go by. Torrevieja is also flanked by two large natural salt water lagoons known as the "Salinas de Torrevieja" The salt concentration of the "Salinas" together with the local temperature, creates a particular healthy climate. It is the healthiest place in the world to live (according to the World Health Organisation).

Markets

Everyday through the high season , a bustling market is on offer down at the waterfront from midday until midnight, selling numerous items and once a week a large Friday market comes to town selling a variety of goods.

Golf Courses

For the golf enthusiasts, there are no less than five golf courses to choose from. One of which has it's own leisure complex with pool, jacuzzi, gym, tennis courts, all courses are open to the public. One of the courses, La Finca, has recently beeen added to the PGA tour. Green fees are approximatly £25. All courses have a casual atmosphere with a professional approach.
